I have decided to move most of my photographic content over to flickr and not upload to DA any longer. DA has become such a PITA to upload to. After trying for an hour to upload 4 photos here, I am done. Flickr has upload support right in Lightroom, DA does not nor do they indicate they are even remotely interested in having one. Flickr is not without its problems by any stretch. For me, at this time, it simply has fewer of them than DA and flickr has more features and better ease of use than DA.
My newest passion is my
Nikon D7000 and recently purchased
Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 DI LD IF Macro zoom lens. With Sabrina playing Softball and Volleyball, Vanna playing Volleyball, and now Serena playing soccer, they are my focus right now. As such I am not doing much with 3D anymore so I won't be uploading much here for a while.
I appreciate everyone's support and friendship over the years here at DA and I will miss you. I will check in from time to time but not nearly as much as I used to.

"Come along now, Doctor... police boxes don't go careering around all over the place."
They are using viral promotion to sell their animation program, Messiah. The basic version, normally $499, is only $10. The PRO version, normally $1195, is only $40. The catch is that no one receives their license until all of the available copies are sold. If this doesn't happen, all prospective buyers will be refunded their money.

I couldn't resist. Now I wait for the bar to fill up and them to hand out licenses. I have seen it move from 30% to 32% just this morning.

"Everyone wants stuff. We wake up everyday with a list of wishes a mile long, and maybe we spend our lives trying to make those wishes come true, but just because we want them doesn't mean we need them to be happy."
